Design Automation Engineer
- Phoenix, AZ
Candidate will be responsible for development and validation of the circuit simulation and electromagnetic simulation collaterals in the process design kit (PDK). The candidate will build circuit and component test cases, debug the issues found and create automation scripts to assist quality assurance (QA) analyses.
This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Candidate must be pursuing MS or PhD degree.
- Candidate should have detailed knowledge of the semiconductor device physics and circuit design principles, and have some experience in specific vendor circuit simulators and/or electromagnetic simulators.
- Understanding of scripting language such as Python and/or TCL are helpful.
