Job Description

DCAI Category is responsible for 20B of Intel revenue and for delivering leading edge platforms to our customers and partners.

This leadership role is responsible for driving BU strategy, trends and opportunities in a way that aligns/adapts to local markets in the EMEA Region. This leader will be chartered with driving alignment between Business Unit Sales and Country/Territory Sales teams to enable product strategies, roadmaps, plans and program execution to satisfy local customer needs. Responsibilities for this role will cover field and customer and downstream sales activities including prelaunch preparation, launch and ramp readiness, including partner enablement, overseeing the development and production of marketing material, sales training, and issue/opportunity management coordination between the field and the Business Unit Sales. This leader will work as a central point of expertise for the business unit/BU Sales in the country/territory. This leader will manage a small team of direct reports and work with a broad team of indirect and sales/BU support.

The role implies ownership and regional execution for the Data Centre across:

- Product

- Pricing

- Promotion (marketing)

- Placement (ecosystem)

Primary responsibilities :

  • Management of Country specific Revenue, Design Wins and Consumption KPIs and collaboration on a turn-around plan when underperforming.
  • In-territory expert on TAM, KPIs, product strategies and programs, market trends, competition, supply, samples and pricing (including escalation coordination with Biz Ops)
  • Drives BU strategy, trends and opportunities aligned/adapted to local markets.
  • Enables product strategies, roadmaps, plans and program execution to satisfy local customer needs.
  • Delivers feedback to BU Sales and BU on product issues, SKU gaps, competitive issues, and market dynamics.
  • Covers field, market and customer sales enabling activities including pre-launch, launch and ramp readiness.
  • Drives regional/country sales programs and partner enablement, overseeing the development and production of localized marketing material, sales training, and issue/opportunity management coordination between the field and the Business Unit Sales.
  • BU sales region progress synthesis and communications.

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Evaluates sales performance, maps and reviews strategic long-range plans, goals, objectives and KPIs with strong influence on roadmaps and enhancements to current features and functionality.
  • Advisor to the sales force and key resource in interacting with product management, and marketing groups. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur in partnership with the account teams.
  • Local Ecosystem development strategy (with Global POV), including assessment and discovery.

Qualifications

Must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business, or significant business domain experience with responsibilities similar to the role's scope and function.
  • Significant experience in influencing and managing customer relationships in a data center environment.
  • Sufficient experience in showing, promoting and selling technical products and/or services. This includes knowledge and skills in marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • The ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team environment and be deadline oriented.
  • Go-to-market strategy for the data center definition, design and implementation experience

Nice to have:

  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of data center market and the design win process, with the ability to gain knowledge across Intel's complete product line and communicate to a broad set of customers in several vertical segments.
  • Marketing: Have a clear understanding of Intel's marketing strategy across all segments and be able to communicate effectively to a broad set of customers.
  • Customer Orientation: Understand the needs of both the customer and our factory stakeholders
  • Business Acumen: The ability to quickly and effectively assess the customers' business model and goals for growth with Intel products.
  • Extensive market knowledge in your sales area.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
