Who are we?
Advanced Analytics is the leading group at Intel that creates state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Our group is a competency center for machine learning & big data at Intel, we're one of the biggest Data Science organizations in Israel. We deliver internal solutions/products that can create a competitive advantage for Intel. We are looking for a Data Scientist student.
The job includes all stages of the Data Science process, from data collection, cleaning, and reprocessing through feature engineering and model training to performance and result from analysis.
The job requires high interpersonal and communication skills - collaborating with data scientists, AI Product engineers and AI SW developers.
It involves working with cutting edge systems (not yet in production) and requires independence and creativity.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

M.Sc student in Computer Science / EE (or any related faculty) with at least ~1.5 years to finish.
Programming experience :
- Python - must. Advanced is strongly preferred
- C/ C++ - advantage  
Knowledge with Machine Learning theory and tools  
Classic ML - e.g. Classification models like logistic regression, Random forests. Basic experience with tools like Sklearn
Deep Learning - basic knowledge and experience with one of the leading frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch)  
Basic knowledge in reinforcement learning - advantage  
* Familiarity with Windows & Linux OS - basic configurations, scripting - advantage

This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
