Cloud Solution Architect

This is a commissioned sales position where the individual will be expected to lead & shape the growing cloud opportunity in the country. Key job functions would be:
Architect, design and implement a multi-cloud platform based on leading public cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure and others. Lead and execute technical initiatives to ensure the multi-cloud platform is easily consumable by products and solutions that are built on top of the Intel platform.
Drive initiatives to identify right set of cloud technologies/provider to be used for specific type of solutions and drive the effort to templatize and automate those technologies to be used at scale in all products and applications across the organization.
Architect & Design multi-tenant and geo-distributed solutions for optimal, secure, efficient, scalable, resilient scalable hybrid and multicloud platforms compliant with cloud standards and policies.
Design using opensource tools to deploy, monitor, and administer Cloud applications and the underlying services for multiple clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure etc.).
Build and expand platform deployment automation and standardization using Infrastructure as code (IaC) and other configuration technologies such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform & CloudFormation templates.
Architect and implement DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps(VSTS), Ansible, Jenkins, Chef.
Ensure re-use through consumption and expansion of shared platform technology assets.
Collaborate with technology, Sales and BU engineering teams helping them implement a productized strategy, consuming existing components while also greatly enhancing velocity of products by leveraging cloud platform and reuse.
Collaborate with Cloud Service Providers and their channel partners to solve customer's business challenges. Scout the technology landscape for emerging technologies, patterns and solutions that can benefit Technology & our customers (existing and new). Strategic business acumen and understanding of organizational strategy and ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy
Deep understanding of cloud computing and data platform technologies, business drivers, emerging computing, Networking and Storage trends, and deployment options in more than one cloud providers: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure etc. Deep experience in IAAS (with good fundamentals in compute, storage, networks and security) as well as PAAS & SAAS. Good understanding of all cloud services and ability to choose the right service for a workload among multiple services. Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc. Knowledge about defining, designing and developing distributed and scalable products and services, including reusable domain-specific microservices on multi-platform /hybrid clouds (such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud etc.)
Strong expertise in Automation, Infrastructure as code and Configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Terraform, CloudFormation etc. Strong understanding of container technologies: docker, Kubernetes, GKE, AKS etc. Good awareness of DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and tools like Azure DevOps(VSTS), Jira Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
Front end / UI technologies including frameworks such as React/Angular.js REST / Webservices (with high performance, multi-tenancy, global, scalable elements) SQL, XML, JSON, Linux, ELK stack, Splunk, Solr, GIT, Ant/Maven, Jenkins Familiarity with Data Ingestion, Analytics, AI technologies
EXPERIENCE: 10 years of deep technology experience at very large enterprises or web scale product companies 5 years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of cloud technologies and platforms. significant experience in interacting with senior leaders and global C-level management. Expected to coordinate / collaborate with teams & stakeholders in multiple geographies. Can quickly build strong working relationships with colleagues within and partners outside. Solid business acumen, management and marketing communication skills
Significant experience in presenting ideas, papers, patents to varied audiences
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Preferred Certifications in one or more leading cloud providers: GCP, AWS, Azure
