Chrome Technical Program Manager

CCG Chrome Client Partner Engineering team is looking for an energetic and experienced Technical Program Manager to manage planning, development, and execution of Chrome devices with Chrome ecosystem partners. This includes managing Chrome device project schedule, debug and triage technical issues and drive resolutions, identifying project risks and mitigation plans, and clearly communicating them with program stakeholders.CCG Chrome Client Partner Engineering team executes with high velocity, deep technical expertise, and an unyielding focus on delivering breakthrough Chrome products that showcase the benefits of IA. Responsibilities will include:- Manage Chrome device project execution activities with Google/OEM/ODM thru product development cycle to deliver high quality product shipment on time.- Exercise technical judgment to debug and triage issues and work with engineering groups for issue resolutions.- Communicate schedules, priorities, and status with project stakeholders.- Manage strategic engagements with 3rd party vendors to create product differentiation and innovations.
Minimum qualifications: - BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. - 7 years of relevant work experience, including software engineering or project management experience. - Understanding of product development cycle. - Experience with Chrome/Android/Linux operating system. - Excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree in Computer Science. - Experience of shipping large scale, open source, software and consumer products. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
