Chrome PnP SW Architect

Job Description
The above position in the Chrome team requires experienced engineer with excellent Linux Kernel development understanding. The candidate is required to architect Power & Performance (PnP) features based on customer & SoC needs and guide the team through implementation & productization. The candidate should be able to understand customer requirements, review software architecture specs, develop low level design for their solutions, do unit testing & system regression testing etc., carry out thorough power & performance measurements for various KPIs, analyze gaps with respect to targets, identify optimizations and implement them successfully. The candidate must have excellent hands-on skills in one of the following domains - kernel feature development, firmware development, validation, integration, debugging, Power & Performance optimization, Linux under Chrome. Candidates with HW or FW or MM/ GFX/ Imaging background but open to explore System as a whole and with product focus are welcome.

Qualification: 1. Masters/ Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering. 2. Should have at least 12 years of relevant experience 3. Expertise in C, Linux device driver development & power management framework, open source SW & kernel development, Firmware Development, validation, integration. 4. Linux open source development/ usage experience, firmware development experience, and/ or Chrome development experience will be an added advantage. 5. Strong personal motivation and will to succeed, high standards for SW Quality. 6. Strong written and oral communication skills in English
