Job Description
Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk. Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems. Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications
You should possess a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of related experience. Additional qualifications include :
• Good leadership to lead/influence other people
• Rich Experience in software development and software workload optimization is a big plus, such as web browsers
• Rich experience on power and performance optimization is a big plus
• Rich experience on power management flow is a big plus
• Experience in project management, program management is a big plus
• Experience in motherboard design or Intel(R) architecture platforms application engineering is a plus
• In-depth understanding of Intel(R) architecture platforms, including board design, product specs
• In-depth understanding and experience with firmware and software, and how it interacts with and relates to the hardware
• Ability to interact with both engineering teams and customers
• Demonstrated knowledge of schematic capture and layout tools for use in design reviews of customer platforms
• Experience working with OEM/ODM and experience developing 'customer ready' collateral and delivering training is highly desirable
• Capable of providing OEM/ODM design support to resolve Intel related technical issues, thus ensuring successful platform launch
