Automation and Integration Intern (Supporting Graphics Development)

Job Description
In this role you will work on providing improvements to "the way we work" - developing infrastructure and processes to support development, validation, and release of our graphics solutions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the newest technologies associated with Intel graphics.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Gaining and continuously extending in-depth knowledge of the tools and processes used to develop, validate, and release Intel graphics software
  • Develop and contribute to both in-house and opensource productivity solutions
  • Using a structured approach in designing, developing and testing graphics system-level software and/or tools
  • Root-causing and resolving issues

Qualifications

You should be pursuing second, third or fourth year of study in progress. No professional experience required. Required qualifications include:
  • Good knowledge scripting languages
  • Basic knowledge of C/C
  • Knowledge of git (other software revision control tools are nice to have)
  • Desire and ability to quickly learn and gain new knowledge
  • Knowledge of English language at the intermediate level minimum: ability to read documentation and communicate over email
  • Strong problem-solving skills


The following qualities would be an additional advantage:

  • Experience with the following tools/solutions: Gerrit, Cmake, Jenkins
  • Practical knowledge in using and administration of Windows and Linux operating systems (experience in developing applications and/or drivers a plus)
  • Experience with open-source development for Linux including contributing to open-source repositories such as github
  • DevOps - existing experience or interested in learning on the job
  • Experience with test-driven development approach
