Atom CPU Senior Performance Architect

Help build a new, innovative CPU micro-architecture. Define, create, and implement leading-edge micro-architecture features that will impact compute from client to networking to server.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Invent, specify, and model novel CPU micro-architectural features
- Ensure that the hardware implementation matches the model
- Identify, analyze and resolve subsystem design weaknesses
- Influence the shaping of future products
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science with 14+ years of experience with/in:
- OR -
a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and 12+ years of experi ence with/in:
- OR -
a Doctoral degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and 7+ years of experience with/in:
- a CPU Architecture team
- a C PU Performance Model/Modeling team
10+ years of experience with:
- Modern scripting languages - PERL, Python
- Software & C/C++, including large code databases and optimizing execution speed
