Education Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Build curriculum into learning platform for multiple courses per year, including packaging of new courses, building course modules, and continued maintenance of items on the platform
  • Quality Assurance – responsible for testing platform functionality (captions, links, audio, video, and other features) and ensuring accuracy of content to create an error-free product
  • Manage logistics and setup for Coaching Circle program (hiring, scheduling, training, tracking and analyzing various metrics, proposing ideas for greater efficiency, and responding to coach and student inquiries)
  • Manage and maintain relationships with Visiting Teachers (communication, contracts, event logistics and scheduling)
  • Effectively manage a high-volume workflow with quick turnarounds
  • Manage course openings, schedules, and related student communications
  • Maintain relationships with outside vendors
  • Oversee webinars/live broadcasts, including scheduling of talent, A/V staff, rehearsals, and student communication
  • Moderate Facebook discussion forums for multiple classes
  • Plan and coordinate various projects related to curriculum and systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve staff and student inquiries related to back-end
  • Track updates to procedures, projects, and documents
  • Answer student questions specific to assigned projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualities:

  • IIN graduate preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Very comfortable with technology
  • Experience with Canvas or other comparable Learning Management Systems
  • Highly organized
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to take on all levels of tasks, from small and simple to large and complex
  • Clear and concise communicator
