Director / Manager of Hosting Services

The Manager, Hosting Services is responsible for the effectiveness of Hosting-related functions and the associated services provided to the InsPro customer.  This includes direct management of the Hosting Services team members, interacting with all internal and external customers, managing to committed service level agreements (SLA’s), and all associated technical project management.  

The Manager, Hosting Services works closely with members of the Technical Support and Middleware teams as well as others in the organization including Project Management, Development, QA, and Account Management.

  • Set and meet customer expectations for delivery of outputs, batch cycle execution, system uptime, etc.

  • Provide overall technical and administrative supervision/leadership to the Hosting Services team.

  • Manage customer expectations with regard to batch cycle execution, delivery of system modifications (as it pertains to the hosting environment) and systems availability.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Hosted environment to ensure efficient processes are defined and executed.

  • Manage enterprise-wide projects in coordination with Development and business departments.

  • Provide pre-Sales support in support of corporate Sales and Marketing initiatives.

  • Provide mentoring and guidance to subordinates and others in the organization.

  • Other duties as assigned. 


  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

  • At least 5 years experience managing in a technical operations environment for a Life/Health Insurance-related organization.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills, including the ability to work closely with customers and conduct high level meetings with senior level clients.

  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously

  • Broad knowledge of Insurance technology solutions and Application Service Provider operations.

  • Strong written and oral communications

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating and developing direct reports and indirect teams.
