The Technical Training Coordinator will be responsible to provide structured consistent and relevant training for the "Technical Group", (Setup Mechanics/Setup Technicians and Operators) in the areas of machine setup, operation, troubleshooting (machine and process) and repair by developing written lesson plans, procedures, and work instructions while also evaluating employee's progress.

- Design, develop and execute technical training programs including written materials (Lesson Plans, Procedures, Handbooks/Manuals and Standard Work Instructions), pre and post testing and evaluation and needs assessment for all technical personnel.
- Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design.
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
- Reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate changes.
- Collaborates with Manufacturing and Equipment Supervisors to schedule training of technical group personnel.
- Travel to other facilities when required or to conduct training/assessment on all shifts

- Ensures lockout procedures are followed any time the equipment is being cleaned or maintained
- Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience in the training field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mechanical skills and five (5) years experience in a manufacturing environment are required. Knowledge and experience in all production positions preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Language Skills - Must be able to communicate on a one-on-one basis or in-group situations, understand instructions and follow SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform various physical activities which require fine motor skills.
- This task requires reaching, climbing, kneeling, squatting, and bending. All activities are performed occasionally (max 20 times per day).
- This job occasionally requires changing molds and heaters where items weighing 150-300 lbs. are pulled from a shelf onto a "Big Joe" moving machine. Storage heights are from 12 inches above floor level to five feet height.
- Rarely a wooden platform is lifted and carried a distance of six feet to enable the operator to reach into the machine. Platform weights are 45 lbs.
