Senior Oracle Golden Gate Administrator
Infosys is seeking a Senior Oracle Golden Gate Administrator with hands on experience in Installing, Configuring and maintaining Oracle Golden Gate for real -time data replication across heterogeneous databases. As a consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ashburn, VA or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least 4 years of experience as Oracle Golden Gate Administrator.
- At least 3 years of experience in Installing, configuring and maintaining Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication across heterogeneous databases.
- Managed and monitored Oracle RAC environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform database tuning and optimization to achieve zero lag times in Goldengate processes.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including schemas, procedures, and best practices.
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication across heterogeneous databases.
- Experience setting up master-slave replication and configured automatic failover in MySQL to ensure data availability
- Managed and monitored Oracle RAC environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.
- Experience on Optimized Cassandra data partitioning and replication strategies
- Perform database tuning and optimization to achieve zero lag times in Goldengate processes.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including schemas, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of database systems.
- Conduct regular database audits and health checks to ensure optimal performance and security.
