Principal SAP SD Consultant
Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP SD Consultant
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Location of the requirement is Memphis, TN. The role may require travel to project/Client location.

- Lead the SAP SD workstream for implementations, upgrades, and support projects, serving as the primary point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP SD consultants, ensuring project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
- Develop and maintain project plans, scope documents, and resource allocation strategies.
- Facilitate workshops, business requirement gathering sessions, and design discussions with key business users.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for SAP SD processes, including but not limited to:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C) Cycle: Sales Order Management, Shipping, Billing, and Pricing.
- Master Data: Customer Master, Material Master, and Pricing Conditions.
- Sales: Inquiries, Quotations, Sales Orders, and Contracts.
- Shipping & Transportation: Deliveries, Picking, Packing, and Goods Issue.
- Billing: Invoices, Credit Memos, Debit Memos, and Rebate Processing.
- Pricing: Configuration of pricing procedures, condition types, and access sequences.
- Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements (ATP): Rules and configuration.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP SD solutions to meet complex business requirements.
- Conduct system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Prepare and deliver training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and proposing effective SAP solutions.
- Perform gap analysis and create functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FI-CO, MM, PP, WM) to ensure seamless integration and business process flow.
- Work closely with ABAP developers to validate technical designs and ensure the final solution meets functional requirements.
- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting, ensuring the stability and performance of the SAP system.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
