Oracle Database Administrator
Infosys is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, NY, or Burlington, VT, or Hartford, CT, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to "U.S. persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on support and maintenance projects
• At least 4 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration as Primary skill and MS SQL DBA as Secondary skill
• Perform: Installation, Infrastructure Testing, configuration, patching, upgradation, migration & administration Databases for Oracle 11g, 12c,18c, 19c and MS SQL Server version 2008R2 and above.
• Provide support for troubleshooting and maintenance of databases using Oracle and SQL Server technologies
• Install and configure packaged vendor-based systems
• Implement and upgrade database management system as business needs demand
• Administer database security according to documented procedures
• Perform periodic database maintenance, including patching, regular database backup and recovery procedures, and disaster recovery tests
• Monitor database performance fine tuning databases as needed
• Work with replication tools such as: Dataguard, RMAN, Goldenguard and SQL Server Always-on availability to maintain disaster recovery environments for business continuity
• Perform on-going support on database issues and ticket management, and other specific Database administration duties as defined in Working Practices
Provide after hours and on-call support to critical databases.

• Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
• Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
- In Malta, NY: $66,140 to $85,249
- In Burlington, VT: $71,693 to $93,201
