Job Description:
IT Support Manager Job Purpose Manage the internal It Support team and evaluate skills and performances, ensure end user service is timely and accurate on a daily basis, support technician, set specific end user service standards, contribute to improving IT support by actively monitoring and responding to end users queries, establish best practices through the entire technical support process, identify areas of improvement, evaluate daily, weekly and monthly team's productivity, provide feedback to the appropriate internal teams like security, to improve cross problems solutions. Providing outstanding first level technical support as well as assisting in planning out and building our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of network projects.
  • Manage and troubleshoot network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain network security measures.
  • Conduct regular network assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any career stream
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in the given job description

Specialized Knowledge & Required Skills
  • Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
  • Routing and Switching: Cisco (CCNA, CCNP)
  • Network Security: Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS
  • Wireless Technologies: Wi-Fi 802.11 standards
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Wireshark, SNMP
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Linux - Scripting: Python, Bash (optional)
  • Certifications: CCNP, CompTIA Network+
Technical Proficiencies
  • Routers: Cisco ISR, ASR.
  • Switches: Cisco Catalyst, Nexus Series.
  • Firewalls: Cisco ASA, Checkpoint.
  • Network Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, Nagios.
  • Proxy/Loadbalancers: Zscalers, F5.
