Lead SAP SCM Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP SCM Consultant

As a Lead Consultant you will be contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
• This position is based in Memphis, TN. The role may require travel to project/Client's location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Responsible SAP SCM APO module serving as the primary point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders on SCM application support, enhancements and projects
• Manage and mentor a team of SAP SCM consultants, ensuring project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
• Develop and maintain project plans, scope documents, and resource allocation strategies for Application enhancement and projects
• Facilitate workshops and high-level design discussions with key business leaders to define the SCM roadmap and architecture.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices across the SAP SCM suite, including but not limited to:
  • SAP SCM/APO Demand Planning (DP)
  • SAP SCM/APO PP/DS
  • SAP SCM/APO Supply Network Planning (SNP)
  • SAP SCM/APO Transportation Planning & Vehicle Scheduling (TP/VS)
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SCM solutions to meet complex business requirements.
• Oversee all phases of testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and documentation for end-users.
• Act as a trusted advisor, understanding the client's business challenges and recommending strategic SAP SCM solutions to optimize their supply chain.
• Perform gap analysis and create detailed functional and technical specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., SAP MM, SD, PP, FI-CO) to ensure seamless integration and an efficient flow of data and processes across the organization.
• Work closely with ABAP developers and Basis teams to ensure the final solution is robust and meets all performance and functional requirements.
• Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting, ensuring the stability and performance of the SCM landscape.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
