Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP Basis Consultant

As a Lead Consultant you will be contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Lead the SAP Basis workstream for implementation, upgrade, and support projects, serving as the primary point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders.
    • Manage and mentor a team of SAP Basis consultants, ensuring project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, scope documents, and resource allocation strategies.
    • Facilitate workshops, business requirement gathering sessions, and design discussions with key business users. Provide expert guidance on best practices for SAP Basis processes.
    • Installation, post implementation and configuration tasks of SAP modules (FIORI, ECC, S4)
    • SOLMAN implementation tasks. Experience on CHARM configuration is an added advantage
    • Performance tuning of SAP systems post go-live based on the issues reported by the customer.
    • SAP Migration using SWPM by optimizing the downtime. Experience on S/4 HANA conversion is an added advantage.
    • Establishing connectivity to third party software and ensuring successful integration of different applications.
    • Should have experience working on cluster set-up as part of HA configuration.
    • Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting - investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP and DB related tasks.
    • Document and update the existing SAP Business Process and work with IT and business units to modernize the SAP environment.
    • Prepare and deliver training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to the client, understanding their business challenges and proposing effective SAP solutions.
    • Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting, ensuring the stability and performance of the SAP system.
    The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
