Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

(As Needed: November through March)

SUMMARY

The USGA Room Clerk performs daily U.S.G.A. tasks such as sorting, stuffing, weighing, labeling and palletizing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The USGA Clerk is generally assigned to one area as their primary responsibility. They will be trained in most areas since this is a team environment and they may need to help out in other areas of the U.S.G.A. department. Other areas may be added to these assignments:

Pre-stuffing envelopes for the membership packages.

Expectation: Pre-stuff tray amounts are consistent. Pre-stuffs are completed in a timely manner.

Separating bag tags by membership type and coordinating them with membership sheets.

Expectation: Attention to detail and procedures are followed.

Coordinating pre-stuff membership envelope with large membership kit with bag tags and premiums.

Expectation: Names are matched correctly and pick-list is followed. Package per hour rate is met and maintained.

Weighing membership packages for proper postage.

Expectation: Attention to detail.

Retrieving orders, printing labels, packing and keeping inventory spreadsheets.

Expectation: Attention to detail and procedures are followed.

Working end of the line position in which you stand and insert a hat into the kit and stuff mailbag for palletizing.

Expectation: Correct hats are but into bags.

Work independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.

Expectation: Projects are complete in an efficient and timely manner.

Maintain clean and orderly conditions in assigned work area.

Expectation: Work area is consistently orderly and clean.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to perform job such as stuffing, sorting, sitting for long periods of time or standing for long periods of time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
