Business Development Manager

# Responsibilities
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of growth goals
  • Raise marketplace awareness of Influenster’s value proposition and capabilities
  • Build and nurture new relationships within existing clients and prospects at senior levels of the organization who are influencers, decision makers and/or budget holders
  • Provide thought leadership within our organization regarding effective selling practices and approaches
  • Uncover client needs, qualify leads, and provide benefit-based solutions that are compelling, differentiated and justifiable from an investment perspective
  • Collaborate with the client delivery team to develop account growth strategies and deepen relationships with client organizations
  • Manage and grow a multi-million dollar book of business
  • Lead our team of Account Executives in the development and acquisition of new revenue sources
# Requirements
  • Proven record of sales development
  • Excellent written and verbal, phone, face to face, and networking communication skills
  • 5+ years of business development experience
  • Creative thinker and resourceful problem solver
  • Experience with digital and shopper engagement agencies and their buying process
  • Strong organization skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote skills
  • Comfortable on the phone
