The Strategy and Business Development Associate will play a key role in analyses of business-critical opportunities including facilitating our go-to-market, working on partnerships and assessing acquisition opportunities. The role will be based at the company headquarters in Charlestown, MA.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in setting the five-year plan for the Company
  • Develop and refine financial models including the long-term plan and crop pricing models
  • Provide analysis to support critical business decisions impacting business models, partnerships, and acquisitions
  • Produce Executive Team and Board ready presentations and support functional and commercial teams with presentation development for internal and external stakeholders
  • Enable commercial team’s success through supporting the construction of solutions that help farmers and developing related marketing materials

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of work experience, ideally from a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank or private equity firm
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, top tier financial modeling skills/experience, and insight development (data to insights)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to a wide range of audiences
  • Strong PowerPoint and story building skills
  • Able to draft first versions of presentations to support strategic initiatives with high quality
  • Alignment with Indigo’s core values
