Software Architect

The Software Architect will play a key role in architecting and implementing various functions to solve complex problems, working with other architects and engineers to drive consistency. This person will play a key role in leading stakeholders toward a solution, with significant impact as a hands-on developer.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive architecture and design consistency and technology decisions across frontend and backend infrastructures, aligning investment with customer expectations and technology vision
  • Architect and implement standards and frameworks to ensure consistency in development, testing and deployment infrastructures
  • Define release, testing and test automation best practices, ensuring compliance across teams
  • Perform hands-on coding work in Python and Typescript within a cloud-native ecosystem of microservices hosted on AWS
  • Collaborate with the architecture team and service teams to drive design consistency and technology decisions across all platform components to harmonize integration, maximize reuse and minimize redundant spending
  • Significantly contribute to patterns and practices in code as a hands-on developer, leading efforts to ensure best practices are in place
  • Define and execute security standards across frontend and backend systems

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in software development
  • 3+ years experience architecting and implementing solutions
  • Familiarity around Salesforce and Oracle ecosystems
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, quickly pivoting environment
