Senior Director, Head of Order to Cash

Utilizing beneficial plant microbes and agronomic insights, Indigo works with growers to sustainably produce high quality harvests. The company is headquartered in Boston, MA, with additional offices in Memphis, TN, Research Triangle Park, NC, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and São Paulo, Brazil.      

This leader will work to drive the order to cash (OTC) tower while supporting the overall global business services (GBS) vision and strategy at Indigo. This candidate will be responsible for all aspects of order management, contract management and receivables management. This individual will lead a dynamic team and will be responsible for staffing, leading, coaching, developing and motivating a large, diverse team of strategic professionals.  The functional leader will also work to define, refine and adhere to policy and procedures with multiple functions of supply logistics.   This individual will also support all existing Indigo product lines such as Market Place, Transport, Microbial, and Carbon and will also support all potential future product lines as the business grows


  • Within 30 days, you should
    • be fully engaged in the transformation effort within the OTC tower
    • have a full understanding of the Indigo business models and how they interact with the GBS OTC team
    • develop and report on OTC (Order to Cash) service level agreements, KPIs and metrics
    • develop, define and implement a business relationship management strategy with Indigo business lines and functions
  • Within 60 days, you will
    • recruit, train, develop, and lead a best in class team.
    • develop the systems roadmap for the order to cash processes through a partnership with IT
    • establish a balanced scorecard that measures the overall performance of the OTC organization
  • Within 90 days, you will develop quarterly SMART Goals written for each employee and ensure goals cascading to your organization and are in line with the overall GBS and Company goals

  • 12 to 15 years of experience in Shared Services Order to Cash environment
  • Travel Required 25-30%
  • Role resides in Memphis, TN
  • Experience implementing OTC technology platforms including ERP (Oracle preferred), RPA (Robotic Processing Automation), and OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
  • Experience in designing and implementing policies and procedures that lead to robust capabilities that scale
