Seed Order Analyst

The role of Seed Order Analyst will be the expert for Indigo’s sales data analysis and reporting. The Seed Order Analyst will review and analyze data, build reports, and offer solutions to sales and cross functions for transparency into Indigo Sales performance. This role is based in Memphis, TN.  Reporting to the Sales Operations Coordinator, this position will be the liaison between Commercial in Memphis and I.T. in Boston to structure Salesforce and other systems and processes for successful utilization by management and the sales team.

Outcomes & Responsibilities:

  • Showcase the adaptability across multi-functional software platforms, with creative approach to breach connectivity gaps as they are showcased with ability to reconcile different platform information to True Up gaps
  • Successfully identify any discrepancies between orders and product selection as well as identifying the changes from contracts/seed order connections
  • Respond to ad-hoc or “one off” issues effectively. Ability to propose resolution to lower the amount of “one offs” along with the ability to reconcile the “one off” situations
  • Seamlessly process all needed materials effectively with creative changes to help streamline the functionality
  • Manage continuous improvement updates and evolution of SalesForce based on company needs and shifting priorities
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Account Managers to perform and build analysis that is additive to performance and timeliness of Seed Orders
  • Serve as a liaison with all key stakeholders to communicate effectively change and resolution to issues as they arise
  • Effectively identify reporting gaps and expedite resolutions that are effective for Sales, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years in Agriculture, specifically row crops
  • 2+ years of SalesForce experience
  • MS Power Point experience required
  • Oracle experience is a plus
  • Uploading / integration knowledge is a plus
  • Intermediate MS Excel user, ability to create Pivot tables and utilize validation formulas, ie: sumifs, if statements, and produce reconciliation set up/reporting
