Finance Business Partner Senior Analyst

Indigo improves grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health through the use of natural microbiology and digital technologies.   • Support the financial planning process for different business models (Revenue, Bookings, COGS, Opex, Working Capital, Cash Flow) across all Indigo Europe BU’s, including:
    • Quarterly estimate and annual budgeting process
    • Periodic forecasting processes, including cash flow and capex
    • Long range planning process
    • Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes
  • Support the Business Partners and Finance colleagues by:
    • Being able to do components of projects financial analysis
    • Providing support to the Monthly Management Reporting Pack
    • Providing support to Reporting cube system implementation
    • Developing and updating leading and lagging KPI’s periodically
    • Support development of business plans for expansion to new countries
  • Within 90 days, understand details and drivers of all the different business models:
    • Develop a deep understanding of the business and attempt to know the business as well as the colleagues you support
    • Maintain knowledge of the budget/forecast to be able to speak to a variety of different crops / strategies / geographies
  • Able to update planning project plans:
    • Able to work alongside Finance colleagues to update timelines and milestones with key updates given by senior team members within first 180 days
  • Develop strong partnerships with:
    • Accounting team to align on overall reporting needs and standardized reporting packages, including flux analysis
    • Financial Operations team to optimize the service delivery of standardized reporting
    • Controllers team to ensure actual financial results are seamlessly imported into reporting cubes for consolidation


  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills / potential, with strong Excel skills
  • Proven Financial Modeling experience
  • Enjoys working cross-functionally in a positive and team-oriented way whether as a project lead or as a contributor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter and desire to learn and develop skill sets
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Takes ownership in work
  • Strong interest in Indigo’s mission and helping company to execute to achieve goals


  • Tertiary qualification which included finance or business or math/statistics to senior year
  • 6-10 years of related work experience
  • Finance, start up, consulting, private equity, or strategy experience
  • Reporting financial systems experience (Hyperion Essbase, Tableau) and / or business multidimensional cube reporting is a plus.
  • Project Management and / or ERP roll out experience a plus
  • Agriculture experience not necessary but a plus
  • Experience collaborating with others and able to do so in a respectful and productive manner
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a positive and team-oriented way whether as a project lead or as a contributor
