Director, Head of Procure-to-Pay

The role of the Head of Procure to Pay will lead teams consisting of Procurement Operations, Corporate Accounts Payable, and Commercial Accounts Payable. The role will be a key driver in operationalizing global strategies and surpassing the business goals and targets. The role will help drive key accounts payable initiatives for properly scaling the business to best support our internal and external stakeholders. This role will ensure that their teams provide best in class customer service.   

Responsibilities:     

  • Begin regular reporting on key P2P metrics
  • Synced into the e-Procurement RFP and implementation
  • Fully in sync with overall GBS PTP Transformation Project
  • Design interaction model with key stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Marketplace, US Commercial)
  • Assume transactional Purchase Order activities from 3rd party
  • Review and approve transactions as per DOA
  • Work closely with other departments to create reports and insights to suggest improvement areas to support the aims and aspirations of the company’s business unit
  • Gain a working familiarization of Indigo business lines and how they integrate or not with the GBS organization and specifically Procure-to-Pay operations
  • Launch the early beginnings of an e-catalog environment; work with the CPO and associated Category Managers on which Suppliers and which products need to get converted to e-catalogs
  • Recruit and retain a team of A players
  • Focus on Knowledge retention and people development
  • Ensure timely delivery of the processes
  • Ensure team meets Service levels as stipulated in KPIs / SLAs
  • Work with team for process improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance of existing controls and audit requirements

Qualifications:     

  • Minimum of 5- 10 years managing a team
  • Worked in international/global business environment
  • 8 to 10 years of PTP experience with a mix of both Procurement and Accounts Payable
  • Role is in Memphis, TN
  • Assessed to have a solid fit with the mission of culture of Indigo
  • Experience implementing and using leading ERP and related technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS accounting & Reporting - closing, reporting
