Our exchange processes over 5 billion transactions per day, and enables advertisers to leverage anonymous user data and differentially place value on each opportunity to buy an ad impression in real time. As you might imagine, this creates copious amounts of data, and we help our clients understand the value of their inventory and maximize their revenue potential.

What We’re Looking For

Index Exchange is searching for a well-rounded, analytical and driven Exchange Analyst to join our demand team with a desire to make an impact on our growing business. Our analytics team works closely with the IX sales team and product development groups to drive strategy, awareness, and insights.

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Interpret data sets and provide recommendations for optimizing integrations
  • Analyze client data and generate reports/presentations to provide clients with sophisticated and actionable insights
  • Participate in preparing quarterly business reviews for all Index integrations
  • Prepare, analyze, and conduct a monthly business review of all live integrations
  • Provide ongoing, internal KPIs for all key buyers (both integrated and indirect)

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics or a quantitative discipline
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience in quantitative roles focusing on data analysis, interpretation, research, and insights
  • Knowledge of digital advertising participants and technologies (e.g. Ad server, Ad network, Exchange, SSP, DSP, agency trading desk) and/or a keen interest to learn about the digital advertising space
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a self-starter with an aptitude for defining new processes
  • Ability to find and apply both syndicated and internal data & research to uncover opportunities
  • Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Experience in quantitative roles focusing on data analysis, interpretation, research, and insights
