IGS Home Warranty Intern
Job Summary
This is a paid internship and the perfect opportunity for you to expand and develop real world experience in the IGS Home Industry.
During your summer at IGS you will work as a part of IGS Home on one or more projects focused on creating a better experience for our customers. This scope will require you to contact and interact with customers via phone, email, and potentially in-person meeting, with the goal of building a relationship and ultimately getting them to remain a part of the IGS family.
As part of the team, you will accomplish the following:
- Support the IGS Home objectives, specifically as it pertains to the customer relationship
- Analyze data from internal tracker to understand trends and/or commonalities based on demographics, locations and claims
- Create action plan and reach out to customers who have never responded, expired, and attempting to renew.
- Develop relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer experiences and making sure their needs are met with our products.
- Demonstrate your creativity by reevaluating our tracking list for potential improvements.
- Involvement in community and intern events.
- A great deal about the Energy and Home Warranty industries
- Ways to expand your Microsoft Excel skills
- Data Analytics
- Sales techniques including pitch, delivery and close
- How to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships
- Dynamic personality and drive to succeed
- Time management skills
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves in a collaborative team environment
- Actively enrolled in college. Open to all majors and class levels.
