Business Development

As a member of our Business Development team, you will be primarily responsible for developing persistent relationships with the buyside and sellside to build liquidity growth and usage of the platform. You will work cross-functionally across the organization to provide insights and input into the product suite to deliver creative solutions for clients. You are analytical and not afraid to take a deep dive into the data to providing meaningful results.

What you’ll do:

  • Communicate the benefits of the company’s solutions and drive investor usage of the company’s platform(s)
  • Serve as a conduit of communication between the investor and company relaying product strategy and new product suggested solutions to the internal team
  • Share best practices across the investor base to help them navigate the platform(s) to best achieve their trading goals
  • Ensure seamless workflow pathways are readily available to investors and partner firms (brokers, technology providers, etc.) to allow maximum order flow transmission
  • Provide insights and input into the business development of the product suite including order types, book and routing functionality
  • Participate in industry working groups, market presentations, broker sales, vendor relationships
  • Record all pertinent client communication in Salesforce

Your background:

  • At least 7 years’ relevant experience in a sales or coverage capacity within financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active Series 7 and 63 licenses
