PIM Consultant

Ideosity is actively seeking high-performance Consultants to join our dynamic team. We are a rapidly growing consultancy focused on helping clients to effectively manage and market their products by leveraging technologies such as Product Information Management (PIM) systems and e-commerce platforms. We have worked hard over the past five years to build a strong client and partner foundation and to establish Ideosity as the go-to PIM implementer in North America.

Your experience with enterprise PIM systems such as Stibo STEP, Agility Multichannel, Informatica (Heiler), inRiver, or Riversand is highly desirable. Specialized expertise with print solutions like Priint, Comet, WERK II, or InDesign is also desirable, but not necessary. What is necessary is that you have the right attitude and aptitude.

The Position

  • Conducting client solution design workshops
  • Writing PIM solution design documents, technical requirements documents, statements of work, customer specific documentation, training materials, and project plans
  • Handling aspects of project management
  • Performing data modeling
  • Managing and exceeding client expectations
  • Collaborating with and supporting fellow team members
  • Configuration and installation of PIM systems
  • Testing implementations
  • Supporting existing clients

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (both technical and non-technical)
  • An unwavering drive to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction
  • Ability to understand business processes and workflows
  • Competence with computers and technology

Nice to Have

  • Experience with one or more PIM systems
  • Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle Database experience
  • Knowledge of programming
  • Client-facing skills
  • Ability to build and positively influence client relationships
  • Experience conducting training sessions
  • Project management certification such as PMP
  • ERP knowledge
  • Experience implementing packaged solutions (ERP, CRM, PIM, etc.)
  • E-Commerce knowledge
  • Understanding of product information such as taxonomy, BOMs or item master
