IBM is currently seeking Workday Certified Functional Human Capital Management (HCM) Consultants (Time Tracking / Recruiting) with Global Workday experience to implement and integrate Workday HCM solutions for clients in a consulting environment.

As an experienced Workday consultant at IBM Global Business Services, you will deliver innovative business consulting ranging from business process design to application modelling and systems integration. You will leverage your Workday expertise and your leadership capabilities to ensure successful sales, project delivery and client success. This will include data harmonization and standardisation of HR processes. Key responsibilities:

  • Facilitating client process walkthroughs to understand business processes and alignment with solution functionality;
  • Acting in a client facing role to determine business requirements;
  • Providing support to the interface workstream to understand business scenarios and integration between the solution and other applications;
  • Supporting testing, training and change management workstreams.
  • Conduct working sessions with large, global multi-national clients to gather, understand, and analyse their business requirements
  • Understand different country regulatory and statutory requirements and how these can be met with Workday
  • Design and implement requirements in the Workday HCM solution
  • Configure the Workday solution to meet the needs of a globally integrated enterprise
  • Demonstrate the configurations through the iterative development of prototypes
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding key business process decisions related to industry and/or functional areas

Responsibilities for candidates with relevant team leadership experience may also include:
  • Creating and managing the plan for a specific project workstream e.g. design;
  • Managing the end to end project lifecycle to deliver projects on time and to budget;
  • Working with client stakeholders to manage client expectations

Qualifications:
  • Certification in Workday HCM, Time Tracking / Recruiting
  • Workday implementation experience for Higher Education clients.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Certification in Workday HCM, Time Tracking / Recruiting
  • Hands on experience of Workday and HR transformation, including HR process design, HR technology solutions and configuration in Workday
  • At least three full cycle (end-to-end) Workday HCM deployments
  • At least 1 years experience with Workday HCM implementation
  • At least 3 years experience in business processes including analysis and requirements gathering
