Treasury Business Analyst

Your Role and Responsibilities
Objective of the job:

The person in this role will provide subject matter expert level guidance and technical support regarding basic data components, data connections and standard calculations within the IBM Treasury business area to support BI Developers with the development and maintenance of IBM Treasury analytics solutions. The successful candidate will interpret and analyze customer requirements, provide input to the breakdown of requirements to tasks and advise on the business logic to the BI Developers who will convert the requirements to IT solution. The person in this role will also be responsible for user testing and providing control total numbers for test cases.

Responsibilities:
  • Have a general understanding of relevant data fields from the source data that build the Treasury business processes;
  • Interpreting business requirements and defining acceptance criteria to BI Developers;
  • Contributing to the requirements breakdown and workload sizing of business requirements to BI Developers;
  • Able to advise on how calculations are generated for business process measurements and KPIs;
  • Participating in diverse Agile ceremonies (e.g. iteration planning, daily standups, showcases, retros) to discuss status of project activities, actions, tasks and blockers;
  • Advise on test cases and test solutions against control total numbers from relevant source data;


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Good knowledge of IBM Treasury, IBM Finance, Ledger and Accounting data sources
  • Experience IBM Treasury business processes;
  • Experience with business analytics (SQL, relational DB, working with cubes is a plus);
  • Finance and/or accounting education background /knowledge;
  • Experience with Agile;
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel;
  • Strong communication skills in written and verbal English;
  • Teaming and collaboration;
  • Flexibility/adaptability to work with tight deadlines
