Job Description
IT Specialists in this job role will have expertise in one or more operating system and virtualization software product areas. Examples include Windows , linux/unix, HyperV, VMware, KVM software, such as those from Microsoft and VMware. Typical examples of the deliverables are building proof-of-concept solutions with virtualization technology and architecting management solutions to address client requirements. IT Specialists who primarily apply their technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment. The employee focuses on individual/team objectives and development of professional effectiveness.

*Roles and Responsibilities
- Performance Monitoring and Tuning
- Backup and Recovery
- Storage and Capacity Planning
- Installation, Configuration, Upgrade, and Migration
- System and Subsystem Security

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Demonstrated knowledge in VMware installation and configuration
- Experience in administration on VMware and Windows environments
- Demonstrated knowledge in VMware and Windows environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of various backup procedures
- Work experience of Microsoft Active Directory

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

- experience in configuring and supporting VMware environment with SDDC
- experience in developing scripts for various daily operation activities
- experience in sizing or designing the virtualization solution
- Work experience of VMware NSX implementation and operation
