Strategic Sourcing Leader - AP & GCG

Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Site Leader, located in Manila, will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent to fill current job openings as also meet future requirements, critical to IBM's success.
In this role, you will be:
• Setting IBM Asia Pacific's sourcing strategy and plans,
• Working closely with global and regional talent acquisition leaders to align, develop and implement effective sourcing practices in the region,
• Manage a team that provides sourcing support in Asia Pacific
Responsibilities
• Define and drive talent sourcing strategy for all hiring activity for each of the verticals in IBM
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Leaders to align on delivery of Talent Acquisition priorities and goals
• Optimize yourself and with your team to deliver against full hiring demand whilst ensuring productivity targets are being met
• Explore innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels for finding new candidates
• Utilize various online and social media resources (such as LinkedIn, Job Boards, Boolean searches, Social Aggregators, etc) to build your pipeline
• Train the team to find creative ways to engage both active and passive candidates to pursue opportunities with IBM
• Enhance talent acquisition capabilities by providing leadership and mentoring; Sustain GTA community activities within your team
• Focus on quality of hire by capturing and maintaining accurate competitor, and candidate information and using that ammunition to build talent pipelines
• Regularly track pipeline activity and report the same to internal stakeholders
• Proactively recommend and drive process improvements that impact candidate identification and engagement

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• A minimum of 10 years of Talent Acquisition experience and ideally at least 4 years of sourcing experience of technical talent; strong managerial/leadership abilities or experience is critical

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

• Ability to understand and articulate with complete clarity; recruiting partner and client's requirements
• Demonstrated analytic skills and strong partnership with Recruiting and Business in issues
• Experience in project management and designing effective hiring processes to meet changing business needs
• Proven account management, interpersonal, organizational, written, negotiation and presentation skills
• Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Applicant Tracking Systems, and CRM
• Evidence of partnerships across a variety of functions to build on as well as create relevant, compelling, personalized and high-touch candidate experiences that align with IBM's culture
