Your Role and Responsibilities
- As a Storage Sales Specialist you will lead the entire sales cycle to include opportunity identification, qualification, solution development, proposal writing, pricing, executive-level presentations and deal closure.
- You will use a consultative selling approach to discover and understand prospects' business drivers and technical requirements.
- A key success indicator will include demonstrable experience evangelizing innovation and selling a disruptive technology into various industries.
- Territory and Account Management with ownership of account planning, opportunity strategy
- Lead winning sales campaigns and develop deal-winning strategies and tactics
- Engage with and build consultative relationship with C level IT and Business executives
- Consistently exceeding quarterly revenue goals while developing a robust sales pipeline
- Generate demand, qualify and progress opportunities, negotiate pricing and contracts
- Provide qualified and timely sales forecasting
- Maintain high levels of customers satisfaction
- Collaborate in a highly matrixed environment
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of experience as an enterprise sales professional in the storage, cloud, software or data center infrastructure field and a proven history of success
- Proven ability to create and articulate compelling value propositions that solve business and technology problems
- Good written/verbal communications skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience successfully introducing a disruptive technology to the marketplace and replacing incumbent competitors
- Demonstrated past success in building a sales territory from the ground up
- A dedicated entrepreneurial approach and proven track record in penetrating new accounts, developing great relationships with decision-makers, building compelling business cases and closing deals
- You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
