IBM is looking for a Senior Network Engineer/Wireless Engineer. The ideal candidate should have very strong architectural skills, and be very knowledgeable of Cisco DMVPN technologies, and Xirrus wireless arrays. This position will also entail innovation and roadmap direction of improvements in processes, equipment, and configurations. The candidate will work closely with the security group, server teams, and various other groups within the agency. The candidate will be responsible for escalation support (diagnosis, troubleshooting & resolution), Root Cause Determination (RCA) leadership, network documentation, assessments, and generation and analysis of monthly reports. Occasional overtime may be required from the candidate, and weekly on-call participation is required. The global network is comprised primarily of Cisco components, and requires a highly skilled individual in routing, switching, load balancers, Trusted Internet connections and big picture network analysis. This position is located in the Washington Metro area, and will require occasional travel to local sites. Candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented, and be able to drive projects to completion.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8+ years of experience with Network Routing
- 8+ years of experience with Network Switching
- 5+ years of experience with Dynamic routing protocols
- 2+ years of Team leadership
- 2+ years of experience with Trusted Internet Connections (TIC)
- 7+ years of CCIE Experience
- DoD Secret clearance
