Senior Client Representative Telco

Job Description

Employees in this role develop, through direct customer contact, an effective, ongoing business relationship within the defined Telecom Operator client(s). They identify opportunities, provide solutions aligned with their business needs and improve their business and financial performance. Senior Client Representative role requires knowledge of the in-depth Telecom Industry insight and associated technologies and also use of all available marketing resources.
This role is responsible for the development of the business strategy for the assigned one or more Telco client and achievement of the business objectives. The candidate will lead identification, development and progression of the business opportunities.
They develop extensive executive and senior management relationships in client organizations. They will also lead the identification and engagement with their high priority target accounts, aligning industry priority solutions and offerings to these clients. The candidate will work collaboratively with extended brand teams to drive IBM's Cognitive, Analytics, Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud, and Security solutions. They will also be responsible for the ongoing qualification of these opportunities and recommend whether to engage, disqualify or refer opportunities to other IBM groups.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Extensive Sales and Client Relationship skills
    At least 5 years of experience in Telco
  • Demonstration of high level of business acumen and applying a thorough understanding of the client's business, organization, strategy and financial position.

  • English: Fluent

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

MBA Degree
At least 5 years experience in telco industry
At least 5 years experience in large enterprise sales
