The IBM Managed Security Services - Security Delivery Project Executive (security "DPE") functions as the primary focal point coordinating all MSS Business related activities, resources and deliverables. The Security DPE will provide support during normal business hours.

The IBM Managed Security Services - Security Delivery Project Executive (security "DPE") functions as the primary focal point coordinating all MSS Business related activities, resources and deliverables. The Security DPE will provide support during normal business hours.

DPE will perform one or more of the following:

  • Maintain and oversee relationships with Client for MSS delivery organizations providing security support;
  • Daily responsibilities for delivery of the security services scope- 1) Responsible for the security services contract lifecycle and associated deliverables. 2) Ensures service delivery to client satisfaction objectives and service level agreements.
  • Drive incident management lifecycle and root cause analysis for all Priority incidents and service delivery issues.
  • Ensures that Standard Operating Procedures are refined through the closed-loop interactions of the SOC, SSM and Security testing and certification
  • Track , resolve, and report on service delivery issues.
  • Provide continuous improvement through use of service delivery reporting to identify areas of concern in order to develop improvements where necessary
  • Participate in operational cadence calls with client stakeholders.

Establish and manage the Security Risk Management Plan, including:

  • Security Services Governance

  • Engage Security Operations Delivery Organisations as required

  • Manages the information business risk management process within their area.

  • Provide internal attestation that the risks relating to their Project are identified, documented and effectively managed.

  • Actively promote a culture of risk management by modelling behaviour and building staff awareness regarding risk assessment and management.

  • Undertake ongoing assessment of risk including the identification of emerging risks and escalation of risk (if necessary).

  • Lead and monitor specific risk management action plans and accountabilities in their business.

  • Prioritises risk treatment activities

  • Manages IT security risk management processes ,tools and processes

  • Provides oversight for project IT security risks

  • Supports policy, process and framework reviews for IT security risk management

  • Supports GTS/IVPC's objectives and IT security risk management activities, including audits and independent assessments

  • Supports the Platform Service Provision Manager in preparing risk reports and business cases for GTS/IVPC

  • Conducts IT security risk assessments at appropriate stages of the project

  • Manages project IT security risk treatment activities in scope for the project


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10 yrs or more information security management experience
  • 5 yrs or more leading and managing information security delivery for customer
  • Delivery large security project \ program
  • Security professional in at least one or more competencies (eg, SIOC \ SSRC)
