Your Role and Responsibilities
Security Data Specialist:
The role of the Security Data Specialist is technical with operational focus. It involves IT forensic data collection, large scale forensic data processing and management activities, interaction with internal and external stakeholders, lab infrastructure management, and leading architectural and innovation projects. The candidate sought will be a member and integral part of global IBM Corporate Security digital investigations team. The scope of investigations conducted by the team include alleged or suspected violations of IBM policy and procedures, criminal acts, violation of local and national laws, regulations and statutes etc. The candidate is expected to have a strong affinity towards continuous learning and expansion of skills and experience into new domains. The role of the Security Data Specialist can be an attractive way for an experienced IT Specialist with a high degree of attention to detail to enter the domain of Cyber Security and forensics.

The Security Data Specialist responsibilities include:
Acquisition of data using forensically sound methods
Data transfer, processing and management tasks
Interacts with service providers required for data acquisition and infrastructure management
Facilitates and engages in data analytics and data review process as well as innovation projects
Operates and helps further evolve the digital investigation lab and cloud infrastructure consisting of Windows, Linux and MacOS and VMware systems as well as network devices, SAN storage, tape libraries as well as artificial intelligence and Cloud integration.

Digital Investigator:
Our Digital Investigator will become a member of global IBM Corporate Security digital investigations team. As such he or she will be responsible for leading, performing and managing technical investigations in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Direction will be provided by the regional digital investigations lead. The role specifically includes interaction with stakeholders, forensic data acquisition and retrieval and data, in-depth forensic analysis of collected artifacts as well as processing, sharing and collaborative analysis of data on our analysis platform. The scope of investigations includes alleged or suspected violations of IBM policy and procedures, criminal acts, violation of local and national laws, regulations and statutes etc. The candidate demonstrates procedural understanding of criminal and general investigations, Cyber crimes as well as policy violations. Also the candidate will have the opportunity and is expected to lead digital investigations innovation projects and is expected to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and to have a strong affinity towards continuous learning and expansion of skills and experience into new domains such as artificial intelligence and cloud technology.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong IT background, preferably including hands-on working experiences in administering Windows and Linux servers.
Experienced with compliance requirements and their implementation.
At least 3 years of related experience
Project management skills
English: fluent

Experience in coding
Experience with scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, Python)
Working experience with VMware ESX, SAN storage and tape libraries
Working experience with Cloud technology such as hosting, object storage etc.
Working experience with network devices and their management
Experience IT infrastructure architecture
