SAP Success Factors Solution Architect
The SAP Success Factors Solution Architect role is responsible for the development of the solution that IBM sells to potential and existing clients. This includes designing a solution architecture that meets the client's requirements and provides for a foundation for business engagement of IBM. The role will also engage on Delivery functions to support the transition from Solution Engineering to Project Execution.
This role may work across the breadth of IBM, involving engagement teams, delivery centres, technology, and consulting. In order to design a robust solution architecture, the SAP Technical Architect must have a clear understanding of SAP offerings, and be able to apply them to the client's needs.
This role works with the sales team to create a winning value proposition based on a to-be SAP SF solution, including balancing the costs with the services to be delivered, understanding the cost drivers of the proposed solution, and analysing the costs against competitive targets. The SAP Technical Architect must be capable of developing strong relationships with clients at all levels.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant/SAP Technical Lead/SAP Technical Architect, 3 full implementation life cycles in SAP Technical teams.
Consultative skills. Ability to define and articulate customer value propositions for products, technologies and solutions in support of SAP implementations, migrations, etc. (e.g. ERP 6.0, CRM 2007, Netweaver 7.4, BI, BOBJ, etc)
Deep, broad tech knowledge of SAP products and solutions on Netweaver 7.5, HANA, S4 HANA, SAP Cloud (HEC), SAP On-Premise solutions, SAP Cloud Solutions, SAP Hyrbid Cloud Solutions
Knowledgeable in implementing SAP within a production Data Centre and interfacing with IT best practices and standards.
Ability to lead technical teams or work independently as an integral team member or virtually, as required.
Knowledge of competitive environment and alternative tech solutions / approaches.
Experience and knowledge with SAP systems and network management and knowledge with SAP's System integration and implementation techniques.
Experience and knowledge in Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning.
Understanding of SAP implementations on Virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, PowerVM, etc)
Experience and knowledge with Clustering and High Availability solutions.
Experience and knowledge with ERP 6.0 Implementations on Windows, Linux and other operating systems
Experience and knowledge with Databases such as Oracle, DB2, etc.
