SAP Data Conversion Coordinator

Your Role and Responsibilities
The SAP data conversion coordinator actively participates in SAP deployment coordination projects. In this position, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating the documentation, development and execution of data conversions from the previous system, as part of implementing the new SAP system.
Main role and responsibilities :

  • Perform the necessary data conversion analyses.
  • Coordinate, analyze, document and communicate the different impacts of process changes on the data being processed.
  • Analyze and ensure the quality of source system data.
  • Manage files containing data that needs to be cleansed.
  • Send files to various internal points of contact and explain the data cleansing procedure.
  • Coordinate the writing of and/or monitor testing scenarios and execute SQL queries .
  • Participate in the development of business targets.
  • Ensure a cross-sectional view of data conversion needs.
  • Collaborate with the client's business and technical specialists, as well as the LGS project team.
  • Ensure a good understanding of the issues and correlations between project phases and client business requirements.
  • Participate in the configuration of SAP modules as needed.
  • Develop and provide leadership during conversion phases.


Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or DCS in a related field
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience
  • Mandatory satisfactory completion of an SAP Certification (e.g.: mySAP ERP Fundamentals Integrate Business Process - TERP_10) or demonstrated professional experience with SAP
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel (advanced level)
  • Experience in SAP data conversion (asset)
  • Very good interpersonal communication and user support management skills
  • Strong analytical, incident resolution, and problem solving skills
  • Bilingual French/English
