Sales Transaction Support Program Manager

Job Description
Responsible for executing service functions listed in support of the IBM Global Technology Services

  • Client interface& chairs appropriate meetings
  • Maintains account contract knowledge & assists in negotiation
  • Provides work direction & prioritization for Delivery Center
  • Complex Proposal Development, Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), & Pricing, as needed
  • Responsible for Audit Compliance & Interface for Business Controls
  • Customer Satisfaction (Internal & External)
  • Performs Quality Assurance Reviews
  • Responsible for continuous process improvement
  • Implements IBM & Shared Services strategic initiatives
  • Responsible for End to End (E2E) process & relationships
  • Assists in driving consistency & standards across Sectors & accounts
  • Incorporates new "standard" requests based on customer trending / repeatable requests
  • Provides input to base growth planning / forecasting
  • Mitigation of issues & risks in direct relationship for the Service
  • Responsible for updating procedures, tool, & education for Client / account team

The STS Program Manager must be able to:

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least three years of experience in a business setting with exposure to business controls and risk management
  • At least three years of experience working with vendors
  • Demonstrated business writing skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, time management and problem solving skills
  • Experience driving a project to completion

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Project management certification
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience as a proposal or grant writer
  • Knowledge of IBM organizations
