As the Business Leader for Watson Health in Asia Pacific, you have responsibility for all sales, business development, channel partnerships, and all other sales related activities for the Watson Health Solutions Portfolio in Asia Pacific. You will manage sales for the portfolio of products spanning government, provider, payer and life sciences, industry segments with new first of a kind solutions spanning Watson and Insights as a Service business models. You will lead key industry pursuits and support enablement across other IBM brands, manage industry partnerships (eg. applications, content, systems integrators) to achieve synergies and growth, and excel at matrix management to maximise the value from teaming across the organisation. In this player coach role you will own client facing responsibility along with revenue delivery, management of associated expense plan, achievement of profit targets and customer satisfaction. You will also support key acquisitions and own responsibility for hiring to support anticipated revenue and client ramp, while also building out an influence/in-direct distribution network.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years leading sales organizations in healthcare industry with demonstrated track record of success.
  • Thought leader in Solution portfolios in healthcare space.
  • High degree of sales strategy and organizational strategy skills.
  • Prior experience with team design and execution in conjunction with Merger/Acquisition, integration and organizational transformation.
  • Disciplined sales management skills and effective in leading implementation and adoption of sales culture, sales methodology/tools, compensation design, CRM.
