Sales Enablement Specialist

Job Description

Sales Enablement professionals are experts in creating and delivering relevant and timely content, coaching, and tools that help sellers to provide the best of IBM to our clients. They activate sales teams with the right information, at the right time, in the right context and in the right format so that they can confidently engage clients through differentiated experiences to identify, advance and close sales opportunities.

Job Role Details

Opportunity Identification and Progression: Help sellers recognize opportunity, increase pipeline, and close deals faster by providing them with relevant content, tools and methods, access to experts and expertise, and new ways to communicate, all in the right format at the right time.

Seller knowledge and skills: Enhance seller eminence in solving clients' critical business challenges and building/nurturing client buyer/influencer relationships by improving sellers' ability to deeply understand client's needs, envision how IBM can help address those needs, and confidently convey IBM's strategic initiatives, specific offerings, expertise, value and differentiation.

Enablement content, tools, methods: Provide and support timely knowledge and skills transfer to sellers by identifying and curating relevant content (offering / solution features and roadmaps, relevant industry / Market context, compelling value propositions, and competitive positioning) and delivering it through the most effective activation methods (digital tools, programs, online learning, coaching, applied experiences) and continually exploring and deploying new enablement methods.

Primary function: Coordinate delivery and manage day-to-day execution of sales enablement plans

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy and operations: Supports management system and governance with tracking and reporting

Content, tools, and management: Performs content and multimedia design, editing, and maintenance; Manages content repository and ensures that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need

Activation: Supports activation programs and activities; Manages, tracks and reports registration, participation, or usage
