IBM Watson Financial Services Solutions - Software Services is responsible for the successful implementations of IBM Software Solutions for clients worldwide. IBM Safer Payments is a real-time solution for fraud prevention and detection in all payments channels. Our customers are large banks and financial service providers throughout the world. IBM Safer Payments software is in production for many types of payments - faster or immediate payments, other electronic payments such as ACH, Wires as well as debit and credit card and internet and mobile payments.

To grow and strengthen our Professional Services team we are looking for Consultants in the field of Payments, Fraud Prevention and solution implementation to assist our clients to implement Watson Safer Payments.

Responsibilities will include working with clients to provide:

  • Payments and fraud business expertise
  • Business, solutions architect, technical and/or project management expertise
  • Design and configuration of the solution Desired Attributes:
  • Self-starter with comfort in fast-paced, emerging market situations
  • Interest and ability to learn new domains and problems quickly, and to become an expert through experience
  • Consultative skills in working with stakeholders to develop solution design and fraud models
  • Attention to detail, exceptional analytical, logical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders in both line of business and technical roles.
  • Fluent spoken and written English skills - other language skills would be beneficial
  • Training of client business and/or technical teams
  • Creation and optimization of fraud prevention and detection models

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in fraud prevention and detection for any payments channels
  • 3-5 years of solution implementation or solution architecture experience in banking or payment services

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Specific knowledge and experience of fraud solutions in financial institutions and payments services
  • Working and applied knowledge of current Project Management and Agile Project Management methodologies
  • Demonstrated client management and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders to communicate progress
