Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is seeking an ETL DataStage Developer to join a DevOps squad in the Finance Systems Organization which manages IBM's Royalty Management Applications. Responsibilities include analyzing business needs, working with IT professionals to translate business requirements into IT solutions, and testing to validate the quality of these solutions. In addition you will work with other analysts, and assist in other areas such as coordination of dependencies, management of test schedules, and ensuring quality standards and controls compliance.
The IBM Financial Systems, Software Royalty Management DevOps team is located in an agile open space in Southbury, CT and uses physical and virtual tools to collaborate and manage their work.

What you'll do:
You will help us build, enhance and maintain our Software Royalty Management solution using skills such as DataStage, DB2, SQL, and Unix you will use a variety of tooling, including DataStage 11.3, Rational Team Concert and QMF.
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain the IT Technical Solution
Demonstrate a clear pride of ownership for the IT Technical solution
Actively participate in the Agile and DevOps development process
Propose new ideas with relentless focus on quality and continuous improvement
Perform root cause analysis of technical and process issues

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 2+ years Application Development experience DataStage, DB2, SQL, QMF
- Agile Development Practices (Scrum), Behavior Driven and Test Driven Development
- DevOps Practices including Automated Build, Test and Deployment and Static Analysis using tools and practices such as MettleCI
