Public Sector, Territory Sales Rep - Qatar

Job Description
You as a Territory Sales Representative would be responsible for positioning IBM technologies, products and services within their assigned territory. With IBM's multitude of technology, and services available to you, you will be able to position yourself as a leader in the market positioning IBM solutions against competitors' products, ranging from Big data analytics, strategic outsourcing, transformation, cloud and security solutions to social. This professional typically leads large and/or complex opportunities, where customers are national or otherwise significant and is responsible for winning and delivering the business.

You will have in-depth and proven sales, business and leadership skills to work with any level of customer management. As an ambassador for IBM Qatar and trusted advisor to our Exec and C-level clients you will successfully create, develop and maintain senior level client relations.

With a perspective beyond the assigned territory, this professional provides input to sales objectives and strategies for the IBM Qatar business unit aligned with our expansion plans. This professional typically leads end to end large and/or complex opportunities where customers are national or otherwise significant, and is responsible for winning the business. You will be both accountable for the success of IBM's offerings and capable of meeting the challenges of the territory and industry using your creativity, innovation and deep market knowledge.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in solution sales
  • Plus a successful track record of sales across multiple industries in the Kuwait market
  • Your ability to work autonomously is a mandatory
  • Strong negotiation skills, demonstrated ability to close large sales, with the ability to work with Business Partners


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 12 years experience in solution sales
  • Plus a successful track record of sales across multiple industries in the Kuwait market
  • Your ability to work autonomously is a mandatory
