Project Manager: Application Maintenance & Support

Job Description
Project Manager: Application Maintenance & Support works as part of an Operations Team in a major multinational company. The service will be provided to a strategic partner and consists in assisting and coordinating the transfer or one or multiple applications from Maintenance to Operations. Project Manager: Application Maintenance & Support acts as liaison between these two parties and needs to ensure the timely and smooth transition from a technical and business compliance perspective (documentation, legal requirements etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Act as advocate of Operations
  • Become an active member of the Project Team and coordinate project
  • Understand business perspective and major technical aspects of applications
  • Act as consultant to Project Leader
  • Review and approve major mile stones
  • Create, track and update necessary pre-requisites from one milestone to another
  • Act as bridge between involved parties
  • Plan and agree service levels in the projects and guarantee to meet them.
  • Assume responsibility for the smooth running of all IT solutions and ensure the solutions are ready for operation and deadlines and cost targets are met.

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in Project Management skills
  • At least 3 year experience in IT Consulting and Development
  • English: Fluent
  • German: Fluent


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in Project Management skills
  • At least 3 year experience in IT Consulting and Development


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • At least 3 - year experience in IT Consulting and Business
