Procurement Tactical Sourcing Professional

Job Description
To be a tactical buyer for an IPS client located in Monterrey Mexico , identifying suppliers, recommending sources and negotiating terms and pricing for small to medium sized projects. Ad hoc or one-off tactical sourcing of customer requirement, Utilize P2P sourcing application to execute competitive bid events (RFP, RFI, RFQ, or reverse auction), Communicate and negotiate with clients and suppliers through all levels of client/supplier's organization, act in compliance with all relevant IBM business conduct guidelines and client driven procurement processes, Analyze changing client/market conditions, support the account team to ensure that reports and contract deliverables are met or exceeded. knowledge to internalize feedback from exisiting team to learn key customers, and IBM/Cient internal processes,sometimes travel required

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Procurement Acumen of category knowledge with focus in the Facilities, MRO, and Capital Equipment area, supplier relationships, leadership network, tools, Business Acumen with project and risk management, client interaction, workplace tools, business process, reliability. know-how on the installed supplier base of Mexico in the Facilities, MRO, Equipment and Capital categories of indirect spend. Speak Spanish and English, Local area knowledge of Monterrey. Self motivating, work on client site in Monterrey Mexico

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Other indirect category expertise, knowledge of SAP Reporting
