As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. The Public Service Sector consulting practice is a trusted advisor to federal, state and local governments, partnering to meet challenges and responding quickly to citizen demands, business needs, new economic conditions, and changing legislative priorities and policies.
This Mid BASIS consultant is expected to support the Basis Lead in managing SAP BASIS requirements in non-production and production environments. You are responsible for parameter changes reorganizations performance patch application upgrades and/or availability. In addition, you will also be able to setup and troubleshoot issues and monitor production on a scheduled basis. Prior work experience working with the DoD as well as ERP application infrastructure networks is required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years experience in SAP Basis.
- 5+ years experience in knowledge of Unix operating system SAP system administration, SAP correction and transport systems and SAP system monitoring and tuning.
- 5+ years experience in SME for SAP ECC BW (HANA) or JAVA (Enterprise Portal).
- Federal experience desired (DoD experience preferred).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
- Local candidates to DC Metro area preferred.
